Oasis Children's Venture
A 1980s self-build office in Coin Street, Waterloo, due to be demolished, was dismantled by volunteers and rebuilt down the road in Stockwell, south London, where it has been recycled as a spacious new home for a children's charity. The structure of the building was re-arranged for the rebuilding, with an additional raised section of roof added to proved new nigh level windows. Tom carried out the structural engineering design of the new foundations, stability system and alterations to the timber framing, as well as volunteering with the demolition and rebuild.
